CRM Enablement Specialist
At DFDS, we are strengthening our Digital Marketing Experience capabilities to create more connected, data-driven, and scalable customer journeys across brands and markets. As CRM Enablement Specialist, you will help ensure that our CRM platforms, processes, and data truly support commercial growth, customer experience, and effective marketing execution.
Be part of the movement - and play your part.
About the role
As a CRM Enablement Specialist, you will play a central role in enabling, optimizing, and scaling CRM use across DFDS. This is a specialist position with a strong focus on platform enablement, processes, and governance, rather than hands-on campaign execution.
You will be part of Group Marketing, within the Digital Marketing Experience team, and report to the Head of Digital Marketing Experience. The team works across brands, markets, and customer journeys to ensure coherent and effective use of marketing technologies and data.
The role supports both Passenger and Freight Ferries and Logistics, covering B2C and B2B use cases. A central part of the role is to work closely with the Technology & Innovation department, besides this working across the other functions within Group Marketing.
As CRM Enablement Specialist, some of your key responsibilities will be to:
Translate business and marketing needs into clear CRM requirements, configurations, and processes
Enable and optimise CRM usage across B2C and B2B, ensuring consistency, scalability, and best practices
Support campaign execution by ensuring CRM data structures, segments, and automations are fit for purpose
Own and support B2B lead handling processes in CRM, including collaboration with T&I on lead flow, qualification, and handover
Drive CRM user adoption through guidance, documentation, training, and continuous optimisation
Ensure data quality, structure, and governance within CRM platforms
Participate in CRM-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives within Digital Marketing Experience
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Group Marketing, commercial teams, IT/T&I, and analytics
About you
You bring solid, hands‑on experience with CRM platforms and a clear understanding of how they enable both marketing and commercial processes. You’re confident taking ownership, advising stakeholders, and translating complex needs into structured, scalable solutions.
You thrive in an enablement role where success is defined by adoption, quality, and long‑term impact - not by individual campaigns. You turn business needs into actionable system, data, and process requirements, and you navigate stakeholders and cross‑functional teams with ease.
You bring a structured, detail‑aware approach and feel comfortable balancing multiple priorities in partnership with others. You apply an analytical mindset that supports strong data quality and helps teams continuously improve their processes.
What we imagine you bring to this role:
A min of 3+ years experience working with CRM platforms in a marketing, sales, or enablement context
Experience with tools such as Iterable, Segment, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of B2C and B2B customer journeys and lead management processes
Experience with B2B lead handling, including collaboration with sales or specialist teams
Solid understanding of GDPR and data governance principles
Join the movement and grow with us.
